    Aquisah is a product of a broken family. Her father left them when she was 2 years old. She had 2 siblings, all girls. Aquisah learned at a young age how to survive in a harsh world. Her mother is the one who provides all their needs. "My mom is my inspiration. She is my role model, my wonder woman! I want to repay her goodness by doing well in school and maintaining high grades so she would be proud of me." Aquisah is a member of Allied Medical Student Club. She is in her sophomore year studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Mindanao.

    Solaica is the second to the eldest child of her parents. When her father died her mother remarry again. She had 4 siblings with her biological father and another 5 to his step father. "I take care of my younger siblings when I go home from school. When my father was still alive he always tells me to be strong. He would always say do well in your studies for your future. My family is my strength and I would do my very best to help and support them." Solaica is taking up Nursing at University of Mindanao

    Ayatullah, or Allan to his friends, is taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Mindanao. He lives in the squatters area with his family where they live in one house crowdedly. He says: "Our only source of income is selling fruits and vegetables in the market. With our situation now, it is so hard for my parents to fund for my studies. I am very much interested in pursuing my college degree, so I can fulfill my dream and become a professional. I believe that when a person has a college degree, he has more chances of getting a better job, thereby, securing his future and helping his family. With the present demand of nurses abroad, I'm sure I'm on the right path with the help of Allah."

    Sarah dreams to become a Certified Public Accountant someday which motivates her by pursuing her studies in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She didn’t hesitate to try her luck getting in MCI Scholarship program as her father doesn’t have enough resources to send her to school. She lost her mother at the age of 13 and looks after her brother. She dedicates her time and commitment to MCI. "Luckily, I became part of this organization. This organization really helps me. It shapes my personality, teaches me the essence of life and teaches me to be who I am. Most of all, it gives me hope that encourage me to pursue and change the way of my life. Thank you MCI.”
