May 1, 2010 - "What is wrong is always wrong. What is right is always right. My rights come from God and not from the people."

Those were the words of wisdom of Texas House District 2 House Rep. Dan Flynn as he discussed conservatism and shared his life in politics to the youth of Minority Care International during the weekly study forum.  MCI president, Dr. Aland Mizell, and students from various universities and colleges in the city were in attendance.

A member of MCI asked the speaker how faith works in politics. Flynn answered "some people in politics don't talk about faith. In the world of politics, you still can maintain integrity without sacrificing your principles." It was a good message and encouragement for the youth to see Hon. Dan Flynn to speak publicly about his faith in God.

Hon. Dan Flynn was in Davao City as a speaker in the International Forum held at University of Mindanao, MCI's partner university.
