MCI, in partnership with University of Mindanao, has been consistently sending two exchange students every year to study in its partner university Texas A&M University (TAMU). This program is designed to meet several objectives namely to broaden the student's experience through exposure to an internship experience in the American culture; to provide opportunities to develop critical thinking, problem solving skills by being engaged in real life work situation; for skills development and understanding of the work place as assistance in the transition from the academia to the medical and business institutions after graduation; and to supplement the student's theoretical knowledge with practical work experience.

The third batch of Filipino exchange students hail from Davao City, Philippines. Pearl Joy Bayanon, 18 years old, is a Junior Accountancy student in University of Mindanao. Jerald Cabangcala, 25 years old, is a 2nd courser Junior Nursing student in University of Mindanao.
