MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement made and entered into by and among: MINORITY CARE INTERNATIONAL, an international non-governmental organization with its principal office at 10705 Old Mill Road, Greenville, Texas 75402, USA, herein represented by its President, Dr. Aland Mizell and hereinafter referred to as MCI; and -
TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY - COMMERCE, a public higher educational institution established in 1889 and integrated into the Texas A&M University System in 1996 with its principle office on South Neal Street, Commerce, Texas, herein represented by its, Dr. Dan Jones, President of the University. TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY - COMMERCE offers a unique international experience involving a semester of Cross-Cultural Studies in conjunction with a business or professional internship that may allow the grantees advance knowledge and skills in working in a variety of global environments, it helps shapes individual characters and help her/his skills for a success thus understanding the ethics, moral values and challenges of organizations. Texas A& M University -Commerce Provides a personal educational experience a diverse community of life long learners. Texas A&M University-Commerce purpose is to discover and disseminate knowledge for leadership and service to others in an interconnected and Global world. Texas A&M University-Commerce challenge is to nurture partnerships for intellectual, cultural, social and economical vitality of Texas and Global. Texas A&M University-Commerce where the exchange students are formally enrolled as degree candidates, agreed to credit into an Internship requirement the coursework that the exchange student had undergone at the Texas A&M University- Commerce Institution has agreed to accept student/s from the Home Institution for a defined period of time on a non-degree basis, will assign credit for coursework, assign a Faculty Advisor for the exchange student(s), and provide a transcript of the exchange student's academic work. NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties have agreed and hereby agree to establish a functional working relationship for the Cross-Cultural Studies Exchange, with conditions expected to institute effective and efficient implementation of the program through the functions and responsibilities.
