January 26, 2012 - With spirits soaring high, the Minority Care International in partnership with the University of Mindanao Social Science Discipline conducted an Annual Leadership Forum on January 27, 2012 at the UM Matina Auditorium. This forum spearheaded by UM Vice President for Institutional Affairs, Ms. Maria Julieta R. Torres, highlighted the theme, Proven Principles for Leadership.

Austin, Texas - Jerald Cabangcala and Pearl Joy Bayanon together with MCI President, Dr. Aland Mizell, took time from their busy schedules to pay a courtesy visit to Texas State Rep Flynn and his wife, Susan Flynn.
October 8, 2011 - Minority Care international, in Collaboration with Minority Care international Students Association (MCISA) at Davao City, hosted Attorney Mary Ann Arnado. Attorney Arnado's talk was a part of the MCISA Weekly study forum program titled " Current Peace Negotiation Between MILF and Philippines Government.' The purpose of the talk was to emphasize the necessity of the peace in Mindanao, dialogue between Government and MILF and to make the youth even more welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Davao City - MCI joins in the annual thanksgiving festival of the city called Kadayawan. The organization lends its support through its scholars to do volunteer work during the festival's pageant.
Minority Care International (MCI), in partnership with Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Mindanao (UM), is pleased to announce another batch of MCI scholars to embark on a Student Exchange Program on its third year.
A special three-day retreat was given to selected members of Minority Care International at Loleng's Mountain Resort in Toril, Davao City, Philippines. This gathering enables students to gain experiences and training in leadership, camaraderie, and faith. Several guests from Texas generously share their time and resources as retreat facilitators much to the delight of the members.
The value of cultural student exchange is an experience of a lifetime. Yet again, Minority Care International provides the mixing of cultures and backgrounds to its two members namely Pearl Joy Bayanon and Jerald Cabangcala this Fall 2011.
This week Minority Care International partnered with the University of Southeastern Philippines to hold a faculty development seminar entitled Online Collaboration: Teaming Across the Web and Across Borders. Dr. Kay Mizell, a Senior US Fulbright Specialist, led the discussion. Dr. Edna Jalotjot, also US Fulbright Alumni, chaired the session.
