SETBI Continues Partnering Prisons and Universities

Hope is not optimism which blindly expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in conviction that a good worth working for is embedded in the effort. In a history of universities working in partnership with prisons in the Philippines, the Social Entrepreneurship, Technical, and Business Institute (SETBI) has more universities than ever before collaborating to deliver opportunities for people in prison and jails to engage in higher education in order to obtain a college degree or to add value to their education through the Senior High or Technical Vocational Education programs.

SETBI President, Dr. Aland Mizell, and Vice President, Attorney Susan Cariaga, met with the College administration and subsequently with the Correctional Institution officials to discuss possible arrangements.
